Mindful Moments
Ever feel like your life is in fast forward? When the vacation was over sometimes I didn't remember much about it. I had pictures of the smiles and of the beach but I couldn't tell you why we were smiling, how the ocean breeze felt, or what the kids did on the beach. This was because I wasn't living in the present. I wasn't intentional with my mind's focus. My thoughts were everywhere and I was missing out. Being mindful and present around the people and moments that are most important to me, that's how mindfulness changes everything.
